Organized by the European Region of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy and hosted by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, this is the most important European event of the year for physiotherapy professionals, educators, managers, practitioners and researchers
Around 1,500 physiotherapy professionals are expected to come to Liverpool, UK, when the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy hosts more than 500 speakers and poster presenters from across the world in a packed two-day program covering five themes:

▪ Public health, prevention and social care
The Founders’ Lecture (which was first instigated in 1914 to commemorate the founders of the modern UK physiotherapy profession) will be delivered by Michael Brennan, Chief Executive of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Joining Michael in this session is another world-class speaker, Dr Emma Stokes, the WCPT President and Associate professor at Trinity College Dublin.

Professor Kari Bø, Head of the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences and the first vice president of the International Organization of Physical Therapists in Women’s Health.

Brian Caulfield of INSIGHT, Ireland’s €85m Data Analytics Research Centre. His work with wearable and mobile sensing measurement and intervention applications opens up a new vista for human performance evaluation and enhancement.
